Pillow Plate is carved from solid oak wood and finished with natural oil to protect the surface while enhancing the depth and structure of the grain.

Oak is known for its density, strength, and longevity. Compared to lighter hardwoods, oak has a more pronounced grain and a cooler, architectural character. The oiled finish gives the surface a subtle sheen and highlights the natural contrast within the wood. Over time, oak matures slowly, developing a deeper, richer patina.

The softly rounded form and substantial thickness give the plate a grounded, confident presence. Designed for everyday use, it functions equally well as a serving piece or as a tactile object within the interior.
